Sport has never been more prominent and valuable, nor challenged and disrupted. Sports’ ability to unite communities and cultures, both locally and globally is now more important than ever. The threats facing sport at every level are outweighed only by the opportunities that lie ahead.

To shape the future of sport within Nelson Mandela Bay area, the Sports, Recreation, Arts and Culture (SRAC) Directorate in partnership with the Mandela Bay Development Agency (MBDA) is set to host the 2022 NMBM Sport Summit scheduled to take place from the 4th to the 5th of August 2022, at the iconic Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.

The 2-Day summit will take form within the local context drawing in relevant stakeholders from the broader Nelson Mandela Bay area in an in-person physical attendance.
